Overview
LotScope turns a complex, expensive question, “can I build an ADU on my lot, and is it worth it?”, into a free, instant, self-serve report. A homeowner enters their address and, seconds later, gets a plain-English feasibility breakdown generated by AI and checked against real property data, then a one-click path to book a consultation.
The challenge
ADU feasibility normally means paying for a consultant and waiting days. The goal was a lead magnet that delivers genuine value instantly, accurate enough to be useful, fast enough to convert, and hardened against spam and fake submissions.
What I built
- Built the full experience in React + TypeScript with address autocomplete and geocoding for a frictionless start.
- Engineered ~25 Supabase edge functions covering report generation, property lookups, OTP verification and lead capture.
- Used Anthropic Claude to turn raw zoning and property data into a clear, personalised report narrative, with a graceful fallback path.
- Added anti-fraud (device fingerprinting, duplicate/blocked-IP detection) and A/B testing, plus one-click GoHighLevel appointment booking.
