Overview
ACLS Certification sells and delivers online medical certification (ACLS, PALS, BLS and CPR) entirely on the web. Sole IT built and maintains the platform that ties store, courses, exams and certificates into one seamless flow, so a professional can buy, study, pass and download an accredited certificate without a single manual step.
The challenge
Selling a course is one thing; delivering the learning, grading the exam and issuing a valid, printable certificate automatically is another. The store, the LMS and the certificate engine all had to work as one, reliably, at scale, for a healthcare audience.
What I built
- Built a custom WordPress theme and a bespoke plugin that connects WooCommerce checkout directly to LearnDash courses.
- Automated enrolment, quiz completion and pass detection, then automatic generation of a printable, dated digital certificate.
- Hardened the quiz-completion and certificate flows with dedicated repair and validation logic for edge cases.
- Maintained performance and reliability for a high-traffic, 100,000+ user platform.
